2006 Bmw Z4 M Roadster

Owners of the bmw z4 alpina roadster s
I am making this thread out of curiosity.
I've been browsing the internet and discovered that there was an alpina version of the z4. The production years were short from 2004 to 2006 with only 370 built in total and 167 of them being right hand drive ( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alpina_Roadster_S ).
These cars seem like a potentially classic car, it has the recipe to be one. It has crazy low production levels and unique alpina modifications.
What catches my interest is its motor, a modified s52b32 with a bigger displacement and the beautiful alpina rims!
To my knowledge most sales are in the uk, but I don't see any on sale in the US. I would assume most of them are garage queens at the moment...I have a question for the owners, how was the driving/owning experience?
After looking around the z4 forums, its kinda dead. I'm not really surprised cause the z4 overall is not a popular car and has a niche community but if anyone has information or thoughts related to it please feel free to share.

At the time that car was made the only Alpina available in the US was the E65 based B7. So it was not available stateside, which is why you won't find any for sale here
The engine was a stroked and bored S52 to gain the displacement to 3.4L, it made about 300hp and 362n-m of torque, 90% of which was available from 2500rpm
Also worth noting, Alpina models are not BMW's with Alpina stuff stuck on. Alpina is a car manufacturer - that means the title and registration will say Alpina, not BMW. They are unique models, based on standard BMWs

Nice alternative to the M roadster for sure. I was not aware of its existence. Too bad it wasn't brought stateside.
